OK I am now editing to say, I have changed my standard font size. Some thought it was too small, and my next option up was too big. Thanks to the lovely Stompy Boot who told me how to alter the text size to an inbetween size, I have now changed it to a size that will hopefully be a better size and please most people. Thanks again Stompy for saving my dumb arse :) and thank you to all who replied giving me the feedback I asked for. You're all great!

I think the original (smaller) size was fine.
Larger is great for me!
Either way is fine for me. Depends on how wordy your posts are I guess. Larger font will work well for brief posts.
oh, this font is very large :|
I think I prefer the smaller font.
I think the smaller font is better. But maybe you can up it one to meet half way for the people who like it larger?
I like both! I think I normally use the "normal" size font.
Maybe the problem isn't so much the font size, but the screen size it's being viewed on. I use an iPad and the small font is too small. The larger font is clearer for me. Maybe something in-between the two would satisfy.
I had no problem with the smaller font. :o)
It looks like the small font is size 12 and the larger is around a 18/20? maybe size 14 would be a good compromise?
I think it depends on the browser as well, it looks bigger in Opera than it does in google chrome on my screen, and of course the screen resolution makes a difference too.
Thanks for all your input, if there was an 'in between' sized font I would use that one, but there isn't. The options are the smaller font which is size 'Normal' in my blog dashboard, or the larger size 'Large'. Sadly there isn't a size in between those two but at at the moment, the smaller font seems to have more fans :)

You can perma-change it to an inbetweenysize in the Blogger Template Designer on your Blogger Dashboard. The 'Page Text' bit, that's what you want.
Wow thank you so much Stompy, I had no idea I could do that, I will get on to that now :) cheers, I owe you one :D
Yay, changed it to an inbetween size now, and applied it :) thanks again to Stompy Boot.
Either way is fine with me. It all works on my screen.
